Haha! There were a few select words that came outta Mom's mouth, then she had the T-R-E-A-T bag and I love her sooo much so I ran back to her. I just wanted to go on an adventure! ;-)
You bet! I didn't go too far- maybe a block. The farm is in a large suburban neighborhood down the street, so it really wasn't too long of an adventure. Just had to check it out! :)
They definitely do! I don't go far, and my goal isn't to run, but to just get a bearing of my neighborhood! There are just SO many dogs around here....I have to find 'em! ....Oh, and the horses at the little hobby farm. Those, too! ;-)
Nope! There are lots of deer that run past our backyard, but other than that, the bunnies have been hiding for a while now. I got to watch the horsies at the farm, though! :)
Tie outs are never a real good idea. You should ask Santa for a fence! Next time run to Lakeville and visit me. We can race around in my fenced yard! Hope the crime was worth the time ;)
Bosses wish they didn't have to use a tie-out. The fence is a bit of a sore subject at home- there are tons of arguments for/against it here. :( Mom really wants a physical fence, but Dad is "on-the-fence" (no pun intended!) and isn't sure if he wants to block his view of the park/open field (which pretty much extends our backyard). While he's warming up to the idea, the in-laws are strongly against the fence in our yard which then gets back to Dad and then makes him against the fence. We obtained a portion of an invisible fence system, but Bosses are really unsure about that option! Good thing the ground is too hard now so we have to think about it until Spring! Yowza! But, you're right- the crime was TOTALLY worth the time! :)
Leo did that once while we were camping. He was tied to a 30-foot-leash and I was inside the tent, thinking he was being so well-behaved until I realized just how loose the leash was, I started pulling it and pulling it until I had a chewed off end in my hand. Fortunately, he came racing through the woods when I called him.
Thanks for stopping by! You're "paw"some. I do my best to respond to my "fan mail" within 24 hours of it being received, but please be patient- my paws are pretty clumsy at the keyboard! :)

ReplyDeleteBOL - you and my husband! We've bought the cable tie outs now. Losing Monty at the Grand Canyon was all the convincing we needed!
