And so are the Bosses! Hip hip, Hooray! (Don't worry, I really did like Gran"dog"ma's house!)
We're back into the old routine here, and I thought I'd share a little bit of just what kind of mischief our entire family's been up to the past 7-9 days or so, seeing that I've been off the keyboard for a while.
My Bosses, as you might know, took a trip to visit some family and friends on the East Coast. I wish I could say that I've been the chief mischief-maker, but I think the Bosses took the cake for last week. Look at all the fun things they did!
First, they stopped for 2 days in Arlington, VA/Washington, D.C. to visit and sight-see. They like history, so all the places to visit were stunning.
For the remainder of their time on the East Coast, Bosses were in the Philadelphia area. They went out there 3 years ago for Thanksgiving, too, so they tried to go places that they haven't seen before. This time, they went to Eastern State Penitentiary (no pictures, sorry), Ridley Creek State Park, and Longwood Gardens for a beautiful light and holiday display. They said it was breathtaking and wonderful!
Now, I'm sure you're thinking "enough with those crazy Bosses of yours, what have YOU been up to the past week?!"
My stay at Gran"dog"ma's house was great! I got so much attention, and got to run around in the backyard a lot, and got lots of snuggles, and even now have my new best friend pinned behind the bed.....CHLOE!
She has officially worn me out. |
Still knocked out. |
Because....I'm a Golden Retriever magnet! |
My new neighborhood Golden buddy, Bailey! |
My other new neighborhood Golden buddy, Bear! |
What sorts of mischief have you been up to this week? Discuss!
(Oh, and if you haven't entered the giveaway yet, you have a little less than two weeks to get your entries in!)
Chow!
Well, it looks like you had just as much fun as the humans! Go goldens!!!!
ReplyDeleteGoldens RULE! We tried to bring another Golden into our house as a foster, but it fell through. :( Who couldn't live without a little of the Gold in their life? ;-)
DeleteWhat a fun time you had! Maybe you can send your parents away more often so you can have even more fun!
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't sound like a bad idea! ;-) I loved Gran"dog"ma's house, but when I went with her to pick up the Bosses from the airport, I went right into Mom's lap, sighed, and then slept. There's nothing better than my Humans!
DeleteSo you had a golden time! So glad your bosses are back. Looks like they somehow had a good time without you. How is that pawsible? Anyway, we have done our shopping and boxed your pressies and hopefully will mail them today. BUTT it will be later in the day so might not go anywhere until tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
I'm voting that they take me next time. ;-) I need to spread my Golden love from coast to coast! I'm so excited to see what's in the box- we'll save it for Christmas Eve!
DeleteLove thee Christmas lights on the trees, they always get me in the spirit.
ReplyDeleteBosses loved the lights. It put them right in the Christmas mood! The pictures do not do it justice- if you ever get to Pennsylvania in December, Mom recommends you go! :)

ReplyDeleteWow that is some superb night shooting your peeps have been doing... and you got yourself some 'dopplegangers' there Sadie!!! Is that really you that came back....??? Hehehehe, My mischief was to redesign my blogs as can be seen on THIS POST or, if photos are preferred, THIS ONE. Hope you are staying warm in all that snow! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Aww, you're so sweet! I'll let Mom know you like the pics. She's been getting better at snapping pictures with the right exposure. But...there's still a TON to learn!
DeleteWho knows, maybe they have the wrong dog! I'm still really crazy though, so I think I'm the right dog. Or am I? ..........
What a beautiful light show! Oh that is putting me in the holiday mood all right! Sadie I love that you attracted lots of friends to play with while you were visiting. Golden retrievers just rock. your pal, Toby
ReplyDeleteThe Bosses said it was gorgeous. The pictures don't do it justice- although it's the best representation they could get on film! Golden buddies are hard to resist, that's for sure. :)
DeleteSo happy you had a great time at Granma's -
ReplyDeleteThanks! I sure had fun, but there's NOTHING more comforting than having my Mom and Dad back! :)
DeleteHope you enjoyed it out East! *wags*
ReplyDeleteBosses had tons of fun out there- but they were glad to be back in the Midwest, too! There's just that "home" charm that can't be beat. And plus, I'm here. How could they resist?! ;-)
DeleteBOL - ya are a golden magnet!
ReplyDeleteI try my best! I love my Golden buddies- I seem to have a lot of them. It sure helps that Mom and Dad volunteer with the Golden Retriever rescue here in Minnesota! :)
Deleteoh a tired dog is a good dog! What sleepy time pictures! The bosses were in my neck of the woods! They could have met Cole the poodle! LeeAnna at not afraid of color (near Annapolis)
ReplyDeleteAnnapolis? Neat! Bosses probably drove really close- they drove from Arlington, VA to Philadelphia, PA one day! They stayed in PA for most of the time though.
DeleteWhat a fun golden party! I would have run outta my yard to say hi, too!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I love it. Just imagine if all of us Goldens got together and had a HUGE Golden fest. Who wouldn't come to that party? ;-)
