Sloppy Weather Tuesday :(

Hi There, Everyone!

Well, shucks, guys, there's not much to write about lately.  I don't get to go outside much these days because it's just so darn gross out.  The ground isn't soft yet, so no rumblings of a fence, the ground is muddy/snowy/who knows what, it's that time of year where things are just....bleh.

Look at all that GREEN grass....I miss the warm weather!!!
So, needless to say, I'm not really outside that much, which is a large chunk of my blog- going outside and being crazy!  I'll definitely keep you posted on my puppy parties that are coming up (because those pictures will be worth millions of words!), and any other exciting things I find in my life, but I'll warn you: my life is plain boring right now.  Woof! :(

Making sure that I keep the neighborhood safe by watching for intruders!  Oh wait, they're my best friends. I love them.
Bosses are planning some camping trips for the summer, maybe a trip to Colorado (!!!), and better yet: Spring is coming soon!!! Yay!!!

Sorry to disappoint you all.  I love to write, too.  But when there's nothing to write about except hyena sprinting through the house, well...you know......

Cannot wait to be Mom's gardening buddy once the snow melts! This garden is a work in progress- STILL!
So, stay posted!  Spring's coming, and so are a lot of exuberant posts once the weather cooperates! :)

Thoughtless Thursday: Warming Up

Good News, Everyone!

I'm freeeeeee from the house!
We are officially OUT of the frigid cold, and just into slightly less cold!  Let me tell you, it is downright balmy at a very comfortable (alright people, let's keep this in relativity here!) 28 degrees Fahrenheit.  It's supposed to stay in the 20's for the next 7-10 days.  How nice is that?!

I like to run outside- now that it's warm, Boss lets me out to zooooooom!
Look, off yonder!  It's Hunter, out there somewhere!
I love the snow so much, I gotta get a good roll in it.
Mmmmmm, snow is sooooo tasty.
Boss even lets us OUTSIDE for longer periods of time.  That means I can finally scavenge the yard for sticks again- wahoo!  Even the kids at school get outdoor recess- they were locked inside for 6 school days in a row because it was dangerously cold for them to play outside!  This Minnesota frigid cold business is downright crazy.  The outside air feels so nice now that it doesn't make you turn into a popsicle in as few as 10 minutes. (Yes, a -35 windchill can give you frostbite within 10 minutes!)

Hunter likes to play around in the snow, too!
In your humble opinion, is 20 balmy or downright cold to you? Hunter, Bosses, and I think it's pretty nice, considering it's been down to -35F windchills for over a week. :)

Hunter's coming to get me- I love it when he chases me!

Swooning Over Snow

I know, I know....we've been posting nothing but stuff about snow.

But....

It's just so beautiful, and exciting! We just went outside and ran around for a bit. :)

Sepia Saturday: Snowy Fun Time

Hello, Every"paw"dy!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday- life's been pretty crazy around the "ranch" the past week.  Mom's tire blew out and had to be fully replaced, the cat got sick and had to go to the vet, and just everything has happened!  Yikes!

But.....it is GORGEOUS outside right now.  I've been outside to play at least 10 times so far.  :)  The snow is lightly falling, and we're expecting another 2 inches or so.  What a weird November so far, but we sure enjoy it! :)

Wordless Wednesday: Then and Now

Whew, we're already halfway through the week, eh?  That means the weekend is even closer! :)

At this time last year, I just was surrendered to a rescue with my little Golden Retriever family, and was on my way to the Golden Life.  Check out my progress! :)

Adventure Dog Tuesday: Winter Woofs

Hello, Sadie Nation!

Well, the snow is finally here.  Whether or not you enjoy the fact that it's here, you decide!  Maybe you don't get snow where you live- we get quite a bit.  Mom, Dad and I don't mind the snow, because we're Midwest natives.

One of my first times out on the deck.

Mom thinks I'm crazy, but I love laying in the snow and chewing on sticks.
What are some things we want to do in the snow this Winter?

Mom wants to learn how to cross-country ski.  She's embarrassed that she has lived in Minnesota her entire life and has not learned how!  She downhill skis like a pro, but x-country skis? The closest she has come is a Nordic Track.

"Smile for the camera!"
Mom says I could be a fox!
After Mom learns how to x-country ski, all three of us want to learn more about this sport called "ski-joring".  We see people do it, we know people who do it, but we need to do a little research into the art of how to get good at it.  Our goal? To not become one with the trees! He he.

I could live in the snow!
Having way too much fun!
We also want to go snow-shoeing.  We have pretty trails and lakes by our house, so we thought it would be kind of fun to get out in the nice white powder and enjoy it.

Trot, trot, trot...
Love me a good stick, no matter what season!
Think a dog could learn to sled? Maybe we'll give it a try! ;-)

What are your favorite things to do in Winter?  Or, do you even get snow in winter?

Monday Mischief: IT'S HERE!!!!

Guys!!!

Hey! Guys!!!

THE WHITE FLUFFY STUFF IS BACK!!!

The Bosses call this stuff "snow", but whatever it's called, it's the BEST. STUFF. EVER.

Will I stop whining at the door to go out?  Absolutely not! They call it "MinneSNOWta" for a reason!

The "snowpocolypse" (as some Minnesotans have been calling it) started around 3am this morning and is not supposed to let up until Tuesday morning.  We find it interesting, because not only is this our first heavy snowfall of the year, it's the first snowfall of the year.

Guess Winter didn't want to wait- Mother Nature, bring it on!  I'm ready for you!

Take a look- our pictures are just as fresh as the snow is on this chilly, chilly Monday morning!

Enjoy! :)

Sleepy Sunday: Always Tired

I'm going to make this short and sweet today, since I am, after all, out of town still, and won't be back until later this afternoon.

But let's be real, I'm going to be sleeping the moment I hit my spot in the car until at least Monday.

So, I'll give you a few pictures from this past week, and leave you with that.

I made it snow inside again!

Oh. Small Boss caught me on tape.

Oh well! I'll play with my new fleece toy!

I love to smile! :-)
Chow!
