Good Morning, Friends!
Sorry we didn't have a post yesterday- it was a
very busy day around here.
Big Boss was on a business trip outside of the country, so we went to pick him up at the airport. I missed him SOOOO much. I was the one who picked him, if you read how I got adopted! So, I am VERY glad his lap and hands are back to give me tons of attention. Yay! Here I am, waiting for him to get out of customs and baggage claim:
After we picked him up, we played a ton, inside and outside. Of course, little Kaiser doesn't have the stamina that I have, so we had to let him take a quick puppy nap. Because....yesterday was his big day. He had a potential family come to our place to meet him! People who have applied and are interested in meeting him come to our house (one family at a time) to see if the dog would be a good fit for their family.
The people who came to meet him were GRRRReat! There were very friendly big humans, and there were two small mailmen that accompanied them! They loved the two of us pups. Of course, they were interested in Kaiser, but I made sure to butt my face into this shindig to get as much attention as I could get. ;-)
They couldn't resist him- they said Kaiser reminded them of their first dog. That's usually a good sign, methinks! They couldn't put him down- they gave him T-R-E-A-T-S, held him, let him run around and play with toys, let him play with me, watched him try to take a nap.....they fell in love with him! We all could tell that it was a successful match.
The adoption policy is that a potential adopter waits a day (or "sleeps on it") concerning whether they would like to adopt the dog or not. We think this is a good idea around here, so that the people don't make an impulse decision, take the dog home, and realize that maybe they made a hasty choice. So.....24 hours will be up at noon today here in the lovely state of Minnesota!
What do you think? Deal, or no deal? Maybe we can make a breaking news insert this afternoon! We're hoping it's a deal, so that we can spread our mischief-makers everywhere! :)
Chow!
